Wonderful company to rent from - I got a birthing pool that had absolutely everything I needed. Instructions were nice and clear and returns was easy to follow as well. I ended up needing an extra week and they were very accommodating and understanding. Would definitely recommend!

The birth pool and equipment itself was top quality. I also ordered the comfort pack which had the knee cushion and stool. That didn’t prove to be too helpful especially because you cannot use it in the pool. The reason I’m leaving a 2 star review is because it was an absolute nightmare returning it. Instructions on collection are limited only to America. The page for UK seems to be broken. That left us with a return option that required us to drop it off to the closest pick up point. Since you’re required to return it within 2 days of delivery we were under a lot of pressure and at a time like that there are not enough resources or physical ability to drop it off at a store. Frankly I’m quite disappointed with the whole process. Reply: Thankyou for your review and we are sorry that your had a poor return experience. We have spoken to UPS with regard to this and hopefully this issue has been resolved. Should anyone else have this issue, please call us on 01526 344266 and we will help resolve any problems as we can book the collection remotely for you.

Cannot recommend enough. Everything arrived when expected, and the pool was easy to set up/use/pack down again. I also hired a TENS machine which was a huge help during labour. The returns process was easy. Fantastic company!

Amazing company, I went post dates to 43.1 before having my home birth they were happy to extend the hire free of charge and very quick to reply. They always used such positive language in the emails that it made me feel good about my decision of going past my due date. They were so helpful after to help us return the package. We didn’t need anything else for home birth other than some towels… I would recommend to anyone who is thinking of a home birth 😊

We opted for a home birth and couldn't have been happier with the pool. Everything was made easy, we were unsure we would be able to have a home birth so waited until the last minute to hire the pool, fortunately it was available. It was delivered the very next day and was simple to set up and to pack away. The midwives were impressed and wanted to know where the pool was from so they could recommend the service to other mums.

I only went for a home birth because of covid restrictions. I liked the idea of it but I also loved the pool birth with my first baby. I assumed having a pool birth at home would be too much of a chore. It definitely wasn’t - it was so, so easy. My partner and I have been immensely grateful for the service received from the birth partnership and for the astounding quality of the mia via pool and equipment given to us for the hire period. The duration of the hire was perfect allowing plenty of time to get familiar with the set up of the pool and to help keep a relaxed mind in the run up to the labour. My partner birthed a beautiful baby boy and managed to on only two paracetamol, the heat and calm the pool provided had a massive relief of pain. I can’t thank the birth partnership enough for offering such a great deal on their hire services, it made it affordable for us to pursue a home water birth as we had hoped.

I was very pleased with the customer service I received using the Birth Partnership. A special shout out to Bev on the hire desk. She was super helpful and I approached her having been turned away by other companies and laughed at for wanting a pool so last minute (39 weeks pregnant). I would definitely advise checking all equipment and doing a full dress rehearsal ahead of the big day because we did and found that the pump didn’t work. We contacted The Birth Partnership and they sent a new one straight away.

Excellent service, Birth pool was great quality and we had everything we needed in the box. The instructions for set up are clear to follow, along with the instructions for packing back up and sending back. We where debating where it was worth purchasing our own then selling it on or hiring and we are so glad we decided to hire. The last thing I want to do is to be trying to re sell a birth pool after having the little one just want to enjoy them and get sleep where I can.

My pool arrived promptly within the timeframe they had given me and the contents were well packed and clearly labelled in the contents booklet to make it easy to understand which bits were which. The instructions are broken down into separate booklets for set up/draining/returns etc which made it much easier to work out what to do without it getting confusing. During use the pool held its temperature much better than the brand I'd used previously.

Ordering online was easy & quick. I ordered my birth pool kit fairly late into my pregnancy and it arrived within 2 days. The instructions within the kit were easy to follow & the kit contained everything we needed. I ordered some extra bits separately and they also arrived really quickly. They email you with all the information you’ll need and everything is on time, clean & ready to use and the returns service is really good and easy to use. Unfortunately didn’t end up using the pool as the home birthing unit was understaffed on the day I went into labour but overall I’d highly recommend you pitching your home birthing equipment from home birth supplies.

I used the amazing MiaVia Serenity pool for my healing HBAC. I experienced such a blissful birth and this was my first time using a birth pool too ever. I experienced such deep healing, joy and surrendered to the process of birth. I had my baby in the comfort of my own home and felt so very powerful. Using the pool was the best decision ever, it gave me great safety and comfort.My labour was beautiful starting from the hours of the morning till the early afternoon. I used the pool for most of my birth and only came out once. I felt very safe in the pool and comforted by the water. The water was warm and allowed me to relax throughout the waves of contractions. In addition to the pool I used natural tools such as the comb, TENS (out of the water), dimmed lights, music and the power of visualisation. As I hit transition being in the pool was the best. I used the entire pool and found even more comfort in moving around and allowing my womb to open up as my baby was finding its way into the birth canal. My partner ended up in the pool for support during transition and really held space for me. Shortly after my baby was grounding down through my birth canal. I also kept this pregnancy a surprise gender and found out at that very moment. The baby was a beautiful baby girl and my son also joined us in the pool. He found his way by himself and was in amazement of his new sibling. Myself and my family were in the pool taking in our newest joy. It was a powerful moment to acknowledge what I had done; I birthed my daughter at home in my living room. I proved to myself that my body was never broken. It was truly a divine and healing birth.

Firstly I highly recommend a homebirth in the pool! This was my second birth, I had planned a water birth with my first but unfortunately it never went ahead that way. This time however everything went as planned and was night and day compared to my first. I hired the tens machine and birth pool from the birth company. I use a tens machine for muscle recovery normally and I was intrigued about the effectiveness for pain relief. I highly recommend it. The hire process was straightforward and everything arrived promptly with instructions to follow. The returns process was easy enough, you can either have it collected or take it to your nearest paper shop that deals with UPS. All in all they were a great company to deal with.
